Lumen Legal Appoints Chief Operating Officer

Royal Oak, MI - Lumen Legal, a legal services and law-professional staffing company, has appointed John O’Connor Chief Operating Officer (COO). His most recent positions have included Managing Director of MMC (Marsh & McLennan Companies), a professional services firm with $13 billion annual revenues, where he spearheaded new business development … and Global Vice President for Kelly Services.
“John brings a rich resume of staffing, logistics and risk management experience to the COO role,” said Lumen Legal President and CEO David Galbenski, Esq. “We have expanded our services to encompass the complete ESI and E-Discovery equation, offering consultation as well as contract staffing and project management. John’s leadership will be an important element of our growth.”

Operational and organizational improvements that John O’Connor’s teams achieved during his 14 years with FedEx are estimated to save the company $130 million annually. He has also served as a consultant for Sony/Tri-Star Pictures and Technicolor. He holds a BA in Behavioral Sciences from National Louis University (Mclean, VA).
